Pre-Care (Before Botox Treatment)

To minimize bruising, swelling, and side effects, start preparing at least 1 week before your appointment.

1 Week Before Treatment:

● Avoid Blood Thinners – Stop aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and alcohol (unless prescribed by a doctor) to reduce bruising; avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior.

● No Facial Treatments – Avoid chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, or facials.

● Stay Hydrated – Helps skin heal better.

24-48 Hours Before Treatment:

● Skip Alcohol & Caffeine – Can increase bruising risk.

● Avoid Heavy Exercise – Reduces inflammation and excessive blood flow to the face.

● Arrive with Clean Skin – No makeup, lotions, or serums on the treatment area.

 

Aftercare (Post-Xeomin Recovery)

Botox starts working within 3-7 days, with full results in 10-14 days. Proper aftercare ensures the best results.

First 24 Hours:

● No Touching, Rubbing, or Massaging – Prevents Botox from migrating to unwanted areas.

● Stay Upright for 4-6 Hours – Avoid lying down or bending over excessively.

● No Strenuous Exercise – No gym, sauna, or excessive sweating.

● Avoid Alcohol & Blood Thinners – Helps reduce bruising.

● Skip Makeup for at Least 6 Hours – If needed, apply gently.

Days 2-7:

● Stay Hydrated – Helps maintain results.

● Avoid Heavy Facials & Massages – Wait at least 1-2 weeks before any facial treatments.

● Be Patient – Botox takes time to fully settle.

✅ Long-Term Maintenance:

● Use SPF 30+ Daily – Protects skin and prolongs results.

● Schedule Touch-Ups Every 3-4 Months – Consistency keeps results fresh.

● Avoid Smoking & Excessive Sun Exposure – Can break down Botox faster.
